Sesame

Sesame is a flowering crop which is widely grown in tropical regions and is cultivated for its edible seeds. It is a seasonal crop and has to be sown every year. India and Africa totally account for 70% of the internationally traded sesame.

Our sesame business model is centered on niche sourcing and marketing as sesame shares the geographical adjacency of the sourcing origins of cocoa and cashew for us. We trade sesame from West Africa and India which we ship to China, Europe and Middle East.

We leverage our procurement structures in sourcing countries to source and supply sesame seeds to the sesame crushing oil industry and confectionary manufacturers.
